Silvio Ferragina degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan where he still plays his profession. In 1999 begins his artistic training at the School of the Far Eastern Calligraphy and sigillography FEIM participating in important exhibitions in several years of calligraphy in China, Korea, Japan, USA and Italy.

Member of "Art of Ink in America" (GARDEN) from 2006, in 2010 embark on an artistic self-founding the Association Shufa.it.

In his teaching experience to his credit he lectures on the history of Chinese Calligraphy (Catholic University – Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera – Milan) and several workshops (Milan Triennale Bovisa – Museum of Oriental Art – Venice).

In 2010 started a collaboration with the teaching of the School of Continuing Education at the Italy-China Foundation which takes the course of Chinese Calligraphy.

In a continuous search for artistic and personal, recently explored the world of sculpture, calligraphy and the calligraphy live multimedia performance. Has worked in theater for a show in which it has been deepened and developed the link between the Far Eastern calligraphy and Chinese contemporary dance.
