“L’intento del mio progetto è di mostrare una realtà diversa da come abbiamo imparato a conoscerla:

quella degli immigrati cinesi in Italia e dei loro figli. Dei giovani cinesi. I giovani ritratti, fotografati davanti a una grossa bandiera cinese, prestano il loro volto a quello che inizialmente può sembrare una forzatura del binomio cinese-bandiera, l’n-esimo modo di rappresentare uno stereotipo, ma che l’ingresso in campo della voce dei soggetti stravolge, lasciando che siano proprio loro, i diretti interessati, a raccontarsi.”
