PENSIERO DEL GIORNO: After Bodhidharma and five patriarchs, Chan Buddhism flourished and developed into five schools, namely, Weiyang, Linji, Caodong, Fayan and Yunmen. Therefore, one flower with five petals is often referred to as the Chan’s origin and blossoming in China.
